February 1, 2008 - Round 1 Ends

Round 1 Required Elements:

• Game Demo, (Vertical Slice) - Submissions should have at least one playable level that reflects what gameplay and features will be like in the finished version. Final graphics are not required.
• A design summary. In 500 words or less, briefly describe the game premise and unique gameplay features. Must be in English. Instructions on how to play. Either in game screen or Readme file.

Round 1 Optional Elements: (Doesn't count toward final score):

• Game Development Plan - technical plan and schedule for completing your game during the completion. (Sample templates will be posted on this page by Friday October 5.)
• Storyboards - Anything from stick figures to mocked up screen shots to a simple box diagram of how your game will be organized from start to finish. (Sample templates will be posted on this page by Friday October 5.)
