MixMap Shader FTW

So my initial adventure into Shaders has returned avery useful bit of code.... We now have a MixMap Shader, this will be very useful on the terrain to prevent a tiling effect.

I attached a screenshot of the shader's output in FX Composer

XNA Calendar

Attached is the tentative calendar Francis and I are going by.

Animation fixes

Good News:
Everything is now in XNA 2.0

The engine now supports animation, not through XNA 2.0, but through the live sacrifices to . We can play animations and the model doesn't wig out like before (even when changing animations).

Bad News:

Sorry!

I feel bad about missing this weekend, I will definitely make it up to you guys. I am continuing work with squad movement / tactics. I will keep everyone posted. Also If anyone wants to work Thursday I am free all night.

Tonight's Commit

Started a basic framework and class creation for units and how they react. Currently I have a game class and a small unit class which should be abstract enough to become a base class.

FBX Information...

I mentioned there are plugins for max to convert to FBX. The plugins that I am using come from Autodesk's website:

http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/item?id=9873630&siteID=123112

More information about FBX:

http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?id=6837478&siteID=123112

I should have the model viewer done tonight and available to download.

** UPDATE **
Due to issues with the way XNA compiles the models into the executable it will take a little bit longer to create the model viewer.

English 200 FTL

I am working on my English 200 papers, so my posts may not be too frequent right now, but I hope to have a rotating world done by the end of this week.

Making things more "official"

I have added a Timeline "Book" so we can add items that need to be scheduled. Also I have uploaded our certificates from Microsoft. The URLs are located on the profile pages.

I also added a "book" for the tech trees. This way there is a central place to store the information and reference it in the future.
